But Don’t Give Up
I know what you’re thinking, I’ve just given people even more reasons to quit when I’m supposed to tell people to keep going and not give up! I mean, I’m a pastor after all, I shouldn’t tell people to quit.
Well, it all depends on the circumstances. I hope I’ve been clear, just because something is tough, doesn’t mean we should just walk away. If everything was easy, anyone could do it. There are some things worth fighting for and the best person to turn to is One who knows what is best. Seeking wisdom (James 1:5) and understanding (Proverbs 3:5) from God and His Word is one of the best ways to know which direction to go, and what things to keep hanging on and fighting for, or to lay it down. Quit the toxic things that drain you, steals from you, kills you, and those things that are dead. It’s time to quit and move forward to the next best thing.
